We are Denise and Gijs. Since our youth, we have always had a passion for cooking and hospitality.

Almost everything is homemade:

Let us introduce ourselves:
Denise has been in close to restaurants and bars since her youth. Eventually she chose an education in restaurant,
hospitality and tourism. After a few years of employment and
getting her certification she opened her own business in
the centre of Amersfoort; a bar/lunch room. In 2018, after 12 years of experience she chose to move to France for a new adventure.

Gijs has been passionate about cooking since childhood.
He chose to turn his hobby into his profession. So he took up chef
training and got his diploma.
Having worked for different restaurants in Gouda for 10 years he
wanted experience from both the Suisse and French cuisine. So he
went abroad since 2013.
We fell in love and are united by the same passion. Thats why we decided to create Dents Gourmandes.
The name is inspired by the iconic peaks of the region, such as th Dents de Midi, Dents Blanches and Dent d`Ôche.
We are a multi-lingual speaking company and speak French, English, German and Dutch.
